Kate Bosworth Strives for Success
Born in Los Angeles as the single child of her loving parents, Catherine was always striving for success. Thanks to her hobby of riding horses she was able to successfully audition for her first film role where she got the supporting role of Judith in The Horse Whisperer. Since then, Bosworth sadly relates that although horses are her hobby she is unable to pursue it due to the risk it entails with regards to her filming career. Her first leading role was in the successful movie Blue Crush. In order to appear right for the role she had to train several hours a day with two different trainers in order to put on an extra fifteen pounds of muscle.
Kate Bosworth is Special
A lot has been said about Kate Bosworth’s looks. From birth her, her special look was noted because she was born with heterochromia. This gave her two eyes with slightly different complexions (one eye is blue and the other has a hazel color on the bottom – making this partial heterochromia iridium – to be precise). As already noted, for her role in the film Blue Crush she worked out to put on muscle tone. During recent years she was appeared on various lists of beautiful women. When it was realized that the Hollywood fad of women appearing with alarmingly thin bodies had emerged Kate was often one of the cited examples. Fortunately, it has since been reported that she has returned to a somewhat more healthy weight.

In all, Kate has demonstrated dedication to her acting – even to the extent of making personal sacrifices. This combined with her acting skills and natural beauty has served to move her closer and closer to the summit of acting. With her new role as Louis Lane in the new Superman movies and in the as yet unreleased movie 21 we will certainly be seeing more of this rising star.
